Island of Hvar and Blue Cave Private Boat Tour

''Private Boat and Skipper - the best way to explore Croatian islands!''

Departure Point: Hotel pick up and drop-off from Split and outside of downtown Split (Please advise your exact pick-up location upon confirmation)

This private tour starts in Split Marina where you will meet Your skipper and step in into a private comfortable boat that will take you to Blue Cave and the islands. As you can see the Blue Grotto or Blue Cave is a water-logged sea cave located in a small bay called Balun on the east side of the island of Biševo in the Croatian Adriatic, and is the most distant island from Split on our trip. Nevertheless, our comfortable and fast speedboats are able to cover this distance in approximately 90 minutes. Since our Blue Cave tour starts early in the morning, you will enjoy the panorama of the islands near Split before the sun rises high on the horizon. From the Blue Cave, all other attractions on our journey are just a short boat ride away. The grotto is one of the best-known natural beauty spots on the Adriatic. The tour is organized from the small port on Bisevo island. You will board a wooden boat which is capable of entering the narrow cave entrance. Getting inside the Blue Cave is quite an adventure that you will not soon forget. After the Blue Cave, we will stop at a couple of secret spots where you will have free time for swimming and relaxing. One of the secret spots is definetly Stiniva Bay on the island of Vis, a 600-meter-long pebble beach enclosed by vertical cliffs which was named Europe’s best beach back in 2016!

After time in Stiniva to our next destination, Pakleni Islands. The Pakleni islands are a group of forested islands that stretch out in front of Hvar town. Legend has it that this group of islands developed as the product of a secret love between Poseidon, the Greek God of the sea, and a nymph. The name ‘Pakleni’ is popularly translated as ‘Hell’s islands’, though it originally derived from ‘paklina’ or the pine resin once used to coat ships. History aside, these islands are a haven for yachts and small boats, as its hidden inlets and secluded coves are ideal for diving, swimming or fishing. This island oasis reveals intact nature and the archipelago’s raw beauty – and you get to witness it for yourself. We will cruise Pakleni islands archipelago and find the perfect bay for the group to enjoy. On this trip we will visit also Hvar town the oldest municipal theater in Europe (established in 1612), the arsenal and the Franciscan monastery, the fortress Fortica, the Cathedral of Hvar and last, but not least, the famous Hvar beaches where you will have free time for relaxing and launch.  Return To Split is scheduled for 06:00 pm.
