Departure Point: Hotel pick-up and drop-off from Rovinj (or Split) and outside of downtown Rovinj (or Split). Please advise your exact pick-up location upon confirmation.
First, meet your driver in the morning at your hotel or private residence in Rovinj. The distance between Rovinj, Plitvice Lakes, and Split is 550 km. That said, the best option for travel between is by road seeing Plitvice Lakes National park. Indeed, it’s an excellent opportunity to turn your ordinary transfer into a memorable experience. Upon arrival in the park, we start our tour inside (if you choose to have one for additional cost). Tour of the Plitvice Lakes National Park will take 3 hours and include walking along both upper and lower lakes. Don’t miss seeing “Veliki Slap”, the highest waterfall in the Plitvice National Park. The two largest lakes are Proscansko jezero and Kozjak. From there, we’ll take an electric boat and take a panoramic train ride at the end of the tour. This tour is available for booking year-round.
Additionally (at your own expense), you can enjoy a “traditional lunch” in one of the local restaurants. You will enjoy the stunning countryside landscape, local homemade folk-cuisine specialties, and excellent local wines. Serving domestic cheese, prosciutto, pancetta, hard cow cheese, baked potatoes, and the most delicious bread. What else to look for? Following lunch, we continue the trip towards Split and expect to arrive at Split at 6.00 pm.
Plitvice Lakes entry fee is not included in the price of the trip so please have the exact amount prepared once you meet our driver in the morning at the day of the tour;
